Czech Black Metal band Master's Hammer have made a cover version of a Czech folk song available on their website.
Czech Black Metal veterans Master's Hammer have recorded a cover of a song by Czech folk singer Jaroslav Hutka. The song, titled "Kamna", which translates to "The Stove", is available for listening from their official website. The band has given some insight regarding the motive behind the recording:
"This is a cover version of the famous song "Kamna" (The Stove) written by the Czech folk performer Jaroslav Hutka, our friend. In the 80's, this song was regarded as a metaphoric protest against then communist oppression. This record has been taken for the occasion of opening the upcoming heating season in a new tile stove at Vorals' house in Sept. 1st."
