Canadian Black Metal band Monarque have recently revealed details regarding their upcoming full length album. The new album will be titled "Lys Noir", and is scheduled to be released on CD some time in April through Canadian label Sepulchral Productions. A cassette version will be released by Les Productions Hérétiques, and an LP version is also scheduled to be released some time in 2014.

No tracklist is available yet, but the song "L'Appel de la Nuit" has been made available for streaming online, and supposedly the album's cover art is that which appears in the video:

"Lys Noir" will mark the band's third full length, following their 2007 debut "Fier Hérétique" and 2009's "Ad Nauseam", although Monarque have also released a multitude of demos, EPs and compilation albums over the years, as well as various split albums collaborating with many prominent Canadian Black Metal bands such as Evil Wrath, Sorcier des Glaces, Blackwind, Crépuscule and Neige et Noirceur.

Stay tuned for further info. Previous Monarque albums can be found on Amazon.com.
