Darkthrone reveal details for upcoming album, titled "Eternal Hails......"

Norwegian veterans Norway Darkthrone have recently revealed the details for their upcoming studio album, which will be titled "Eternal Hails......", and is scheduled for release on the 25th of June through Peaceville Records.

The album's artwork is originally from a painting by British artist David A. Hardy titled "Pluto and Charon", and dates back to 1972:

"Eternal Hails......" will mark the band's 19th full length studio recording, and features the following tracklist:

  1. His Master's Voice
  2. Hate Cloak
  3. Wake of the Awakened
  4. Voyage to a North Pole Adrift
  5. Lost Arcane City of Uppakra


Their Facebook post also reveals that the album will be available in a variety of formats:

  • Ltd edition deluxe box set containing - Exclusive purple coloured heavyweight vinyl / CD in alternate digisleeve format / cassette tape / 12 page booklet containing a biography surrounding the creation of the album & studio experience / 10" art print of David Hardy's Pluto & Charon painting / handwritten letter print from Fenriz

  • Black 180g vinyl LP
  • Oxblood 180g coloured vinyl LP
  • Marble coloured 180g vinyl LP (exclusive to Peaceville. Com stores)
  • Picture disc
  • Digital


No music from "Eternal Hails......" has been revealed yet (except for a short teaser video), but the album is available for pre-order here.
