fun how people really expected Satyricon to stay the same from when they were founded
fuck sake guys 20+ years have passed, they've given so much to the Black metal scene that it's their right to do what they please with their sound. although it's not black metal anymore, it's still metal, and still good.

Despite the brilliant album artwork, and one or two ok moments, this is easily the worst thing Satyricon have done. The riffs are boring and played without any passion, the sound is literally just a single guitar and drums, and it just doesn't move me on any level... except away from the stereo.

When a band names their album after the band, you know they mean business.

It's a fun album to spin from time to time for sure!
