Simply put this is one of the best black metal albums ever made!!! It is comparable only to pieces of art like Under the Sign of Hell, The Somberlain and Filosofem. Much better than the overrated Far Away from the Sun! The style resembles Dissection of course but there are no obvious rip offs, on the contrary, this album is about as creative and inspired as it gets - catchy, grim, sad and occasionally aggressive. A must listen for everyone who cares about black metal or about metal in general for that matter. \m/

Welcome My Last Chapter is one of the most melodic but in the same time agressive black metal albums ever. The riffs are glorious and the atmosphere is cold but yet beautiful... A must have for every fan of the genre

I remember when this was released. It's a average album, not bad. But not even in my top-100 of best Swedish Black Metal albums ever.

Sweden was overcrowded with Dissection copycats in the mid to late 90s ever since "The Somberlain" (that's a 5 of 5 album) was released.

Honestly the best black metal album ever made

What can i say about this album ? Possibly the greatest melodic black metal album of all time, it rivals dissection's storm, no filler songs, just pure swedish black metal with amazing atmosphere and great melodies, just do yourself a favour and give it a listen.

Herr Thompa Sweden:
Do ourselves a favor and die!
Everybody' saying that this is a forgotten gem and one of the best bm albums ever released! Maybe not a top 5 (maybe yes);but sayong it's not even in the top 100 of sweden whereas it deserves nto be in the top 20 ever you're just a retarded troll who's spewing bullshit for the sake of trolling (or is it that you're so dumb that you truly think that this is an average record whereas everyone who can appreciate bm will immediately acknowlzdge it as a major work.
HH: it doesn't not rival Storm of the Light's Bane. Maybe The Somberlain but not Storm.
